PHANTOM STUDIOS

Led the creative direction and design development of a boutique office conceived as a design-led practice housed within a bungalow setting—an uncommon spatial typology in Mumbai that allowed the workplace to unfold as a dialogue between indoor and outdoor living. Envisioned as a calm, immersive counterpoint to conventional workspaces, the project uses nature, light and material softness to temper the intensity of studio culture. Warm woods are laced throughout the space, establishing continuity and warmth, while a carefully curated selection of collectible pieces replaces the vocabulary of the typical office with one closer to a lived-in, residential atelier.

 

Developed a minimal, atmospheric interior language through bespoke furniture and product IP, including monolithic worktables, collaborative elements and object-led interventions that support both focus and informal exchange. The integration of outdoor courts and garden extensions was treated as intrinsic to the spatial experience, dissolving boundaries between workspace and retreat. The project positions workplace design through a more restorative lens, where crafted detailing, tactile materials and curated objects create a contemplative and distinctly design-forward studio environment.
